I learned so much during the challenge. | Ruth WilsonI found this panel in Sew Jersey. It was screaming "BUY ME!" It was the perfect panel for my eldest daughter Cathryn. Just had to bring it home to sit a few years before I could figure out what to do with it. Finally, with the help from my youngest daughter Jennifer, we figured out this pattern based on something I saw on Pinterest. (All the added fabrics are from our stash.) Just in time to ship out to her for her April 8 birthday. |

It was fun to make and it’s nice to have a UFO complete. | Katie BisaroA baby quilt I made for my granddaughter, Liliana Caroline (Lily), who was born at the end of December. I created the pattern myself from a photo I saw of a similar teddy bear center. I graphed out the teddy bear then figured out what to put around it. The outer border I did with 4-patches and remarkably all the math worked! Lily is my first baby granddaughter (after 4 little boys!), I had fun with all the pinks! Another boy arrived in February - back to blue... |
