2018 Raffle Quilt "Possibilities"

While the 2018 Stars in the Valley Quilt Show was cancelled because of conflicts with Applefest, the Warwick Valley Quilters Guild still held their Quilt Raffle with the drawing taking place Oct. 14 at 4 p.m. at Applefest.

“Possibilities,” the 2018 Raffle Quilt, was a generous queen-or king-sized quilt made from two traditional quilt blocks with the updated twist of modern, monotone fabrics. Using just a bit of a focus fabric from Tula Pink, the quilt incorporates both bright colors and shades of gray against a white background for high contrast.  The reverse side of the quilt is completely improvised with all fabrics from the front, creating a truly one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
