This is a wedding quilt for my nephew and his bride. They are into “neutrals”. Used a Denyse Schmidt pattern with my tan and grey fabric stash.
Back Side of Quilt
This tote bag is made of denim with a vinyl sticker(shoe) ironed on. I sold it last week.
This bag is made of printed vinyl.
I was having fun with the vinyl iron on stickers and made this cams wall hanging. at least I finally got a head start for next Christmas.
Things That Go! a kit purchased from Sue’s Fabric World the last time she vended at one of our guild meetings.... the vehicles were a panel.
My granddaughter Katherine’s Birthday is March 14th. She needed a new Jean jacket, but wanted one with “stuff” on the back. We never discussed what kind of stuff..
And then I just had to put something on the front.
Fun take on a log cabin.
Carol Pinto - Rosie's Jacket
My granddaughter Rosie Bee turned 3 years of age on March 3. For her birthday I made her a paper doll quilt blanket and a quilted spring jacket. For Rosie’s Jacket I primarily used fabrics from the “Love Note” collection from Lella Boutique for Moda Fabrics. I did purchase additional fabric and used a few prints from my stash. For the jacket lining I selected a blue chambray. I purchased the “Cute as a Button Baby Jacket Pattern'' by Jackie Clark from the Quiltfolk website.
Carol Pinto - PaperDoll Quilt
I purchased the Original Paper Doll Blanket pattern on Etsy from Glenn Ann and Laura. The blanket fabric was purchased from Missouri Quilt company and Fabric.com. I used a pink quilted broadcloth for the blanket and Love Note - First Crush Cloud for the borders. The doll was constructed from Kona Cottons…sand for the body and coffee for the hair. Paper Doll Blanket Hook and Loop Fabric was needed for the undies so the doll’s clothes would stick. I used my stash for the clothes.
A very special quilt made for my great grandson Miles’ big boy bed... designed from some pictures his mother showed me ... she loves the vintage look.
I embroidered the label which is a new skill for me.
shirts, pants, onesies, bibs and blankets. I embroidered the label which is a new skill for me.
I changed the pattern for the zippy clutch bag by using clear vinyl for the front pocket so I can see my cell phone.
