MJ Kinman, maker of giant gem quilts, will share one of her favorite ways to find inspiration for new work or a new series – playing with images in a photo editing app. These apps allow you to manipulate images in infinite ways, transforming them into intriguing ideas for new work. MJ will show specific examples of the process she has used to create new mock-ups of current and future work. Additionally, students will learn more than 20 different ways to manipulate images to create fascinating designs. For
