This is a “tell “. I wanted to confirm the rumor that my Frixon marking pen “reappears” if the fabric gets cold. It’s true! I had first erased this wording with ironing and then put it in my freezer overnight, as a test. This is what I found in the morning. But it did disappear again, when I ironed it- again.

I am making a quilt top and am thinking about making another with green apples. I need to applique the leaves on and paint the stems and seeds. I can do the seeds and stems on any block that is donated if necessary. Bet you can't make just one!

Carol Johnson - 2010 Winslow Workshop

Carol Johnson - 2010 Winslow Workshop

This is one of my older UFOs from a 2010 guild workshop done by Cheryl Winslow. There is a hanging sleeve so it can be hung vertically as well as a table runner. It will be sold and the proceeds donated to the guild for further education of our Warwick Valley Quilters' Guild members. Cheryl's class was accurate piecing and using setting triangles. Made with Holly Holderman fabric that was donated to the guild by Holly prior to 2009. Great for practicing my quilting on.
